Synopsis: Despite the fact that stamps have been used in Sarawak for revenue purposes for almost one hundred and fifty years, information is scarce. This book addresses the topic and attempts to bring together, in a single volume, current knowledge on the subject and provides a reference narrative for the study of Sarawak’s revenue stamps. The format has been to follow a chronological date order for the first century from 1869 to 1969 starting with the introduction of the first stamp duties until the establishment of the State of Malaysia.
