Viewing Friday 10 April 2026 before dinner and Saturday, 11 April 2026 morning prior to auction.
The auction will kick off at 10:00 am saturday.

Bidding
The auction list contains reserves for some lots; estimates for others. Where there is an estimate, reserves are generally some 80% of this figure. Bids below reserve generally are not helpful.
Approximate bid-steps are as follows:
Up to £20 – £1 increment; £20-£100 – £2/£3; thereafter at the auctioneer’s discretion (normally 5%).
Commission
Vendors: 10% for the first £150, 5% thereafter, 3% on lots selling for £100 or more.
Purchasers: 5% on all purchases rounded to the nearest £.
In addition, the cost of any postage will be added to the invoices.
Payment
The auction rules state inter alia, that, it is understood that lots can be returned within 3 days of receipt, or expertisation request can be granted by the Auctioneer if applied for within this time, otherwise they must be paid for within this time or arrangements with banks put in hand. Submitting Materials
Good materials from our four countries are always welcome. The minimum lot value is £10. Items worth less than this are not suitable for the auction. If you wish to submit your material and would like to contact us, please email Roger Johnson at auction@b-p-s.org.uk.
