Societies and Periodicals Society Periodicals Description Association of the British Philatelic Societies (ABPS) ABPS News The ABPS is the national organisation catering for the needs of collectors through the Federations and Societies and those interested in philately. It provides a platform for communication within UK philately through its publication. Malaya Study Group (MSG) The Malayan Philatelist The MSG is the specialist society for collectors of the stamps, postal stationery and postal history of the states Peninsular Malaysia plus territories formerly administered by the Straits Settlements and overprinted Straits Settlements stamps used in the British Post Office in Bangkok. The Postal History Society (PHS) Postal History Founded in 1936, PHS is dedicated to the study of postal history. The Royal Philatelic Society (RPSL) The London Philatelist Established in 1869, the RPSL is the oldest philatelic society in the world.
