Dr. Jon Higgins FRPSL published another fascinating article in the Gibbons Stamp Monthly (GSM) titled ‘Delivering Victory – How Australian Forces brought mail – and freedom – to Labuan during World War II’.
In this article, Jon explores the Australian Forces Mail operations during the June – August 1945 Borneo campaign, starting with Labuan, where postal services were restored mere days after the Allied landings.
