Re-launch of the Borneo Philatelic Society Website
John Morgan launched the website of the Sarawak Specialists’ Society around 2000; Dr. Roger Johnson took it over in 2006 when John resigned due to ill health and has maintained it ever since while holding a number of other important roles on the Council of the Society, latterly as Secretary a pivotal position. In order to continue as Secretary but also to enable him to take on an additional role on the Council he felt it was time to relinquish his role as Webmaster.
With only a moderate amount of arm twisting Dr. Marcel Jinih very kindly agreed to become our new webmaster, the website good as it is was beginning to show its age and with the change of the Society’s name Marcel felt that it was the ideal time for a redesign and a relaunch. Marcel has been busy working on this since his election to the Council last October and here it is, I think it is splendid, easy to navigate and looking fresh and bright – newly minted in fact.
